Senior Bicycle Mechanic (full-time) – Giant St Albans £28-£30K + bonus

We are looking for someone to take over the running of our busy workshop in St Albans. Our current senior mechanic is moving to a community backed project and we wish him well. However, this creates an opportunity for someone to come in and turn this workshop into their very own well-oiled machine. The workshop operates with a senior mechanic and a store team who build bikes and undertake smaller jobs.

Ideally you will be able to say yes to the following: –

• 2 years’ experience working on bikes priced from £500 to £5000+
• A commercial outlook
• A friendly personality
• Prove you can deliver excellent customer service
• Good time management and work to a schedule
• Enjoy working in a team!
• Have Cytech level 2 or equivalent (or have the relevant industry experience)

Our St Albans store sells and services some incredible bikes, so the work is varied and the customers friendly and affluent. This role will suit working mechanics, good bike builders and home mechanics with high level transferable skills, looking to change career.
